The approach

A private, high-end approach to animal osteopathy, designed to treat every animal with precision, gentleness and discretion.

A graduate of the European School of Animal Osteopathy and registered with the French National Veterinary Council, Emma Delporte has been practising animal osteopathy since 2019. Structural, fascial, visceral, cranial: each technique is chosen for the animal in front of her, never the reverse.

Wellbeing and performance are the two words that govern her practice. An animal that no longer compensates is an animal that lives fully, without pain or restriction. That is the sole aim of every session.

The species

Every species.
No exception.

The show horse as much as the house cat. The structure changes, the attention paid to it does not.

Horses

Dressage, show jumping, eventing, racing. Season assessments, recovery after effort and competition follow-up.

Dogs

Every category, from working and sporting dogs to city companions. Care from puppy to senior.

Cats

Falls, mobility disorders, ageing animals. A particularly gentle and gradual approach.

Cattle

Herds and show animals. Treated directly on the farm, by appointment.

When to call

An animal never says it hurts.
It compensates instead.

A stride that changes, stiffness on rising, a temperament that closes up: the signs are usually discreet long before they become visible. Osteopathy works as much in prevention as in response to an established problem.

  • A preventive check-up
  • a change in behaviour
  • a change in gait
  • lameness
  • a fall or a trauma
  • post-operative recovery
  • sport and competition follow-up
  • care for an ageing animal

And the animals that travel. Car, private jet, yacht: the body absorbs every journey, and nothing prepares it to string so many together.

The visit

A dedicated journey.
A slot that belongs to you alone.

No other appointment is scheduled within the slot reserved for you. Neither before, nor after.

First contact

A preliminary review of the animal’s needs, by telephone or in writing: history, discipline, way of life, reason for the consultation. The appointment is arranged around your diary.

Dedicated journey

Emma Delporte travels to the animal: to your home, the stables, the stud farm or the competition venue, in France and abroad.

Full assessment

An overall analysis of posture, locomotion and behaviour before any manipulation. The animal is observed both in movement and at rest.

Osteopathic treatment

A thorough examination followed by gentle techniques chosen session by session: structural, fascial, visceral, cranial. Nothing is applied systematically.

Recommendations and follow-up

What to do over the following days, exercises where needed, remote video assessment and coordination with your veterinary surgeon, naturopath or nutritionist.

Discretion

Your estates, your stables, your names.
Nothing leaves the session.

Every visit is carried out with the strictest respect for the privacy of the families concerned and the confidentiality of their properties. No photograph, no reference and no name is ever shared, published or quoted.

A non-disclosure agreement can be signed before the first visit, on request and without discussion.

The territory

The Riviera in summer. The Alps in winter. Elsewhere if your travels require it.

Emma Delporte works across France and internationally, adapting to your way of life as much as to that of your animals. Residences change with the seasons; osteopathic care need not be interrupted for that.

Animals that travel a great deal, by car, by jet or by yacht, receive particular attention: every journey leaves its mark on the structure.
